Mission Statement

The mission of the Friends of Adult Day Health Care is to promote choice, dignity and compassion for individuals and families by supporting the programs offered by Yolo Adult Day Health Center.

Background & History

Established in 1984, FADHC consists of a small but dedicated group of people who see the ever increasing need for more centers like YADHC all over the country. Despite this great need, and despite the valuable services provided for participants and the relief they provide to caregivers, many of these centers struggle to survive. Often they need a network of supportive partners and sponsors, and people to seek and coordinate this funding and these partnerships. This is where a non-profit organization like FADHC comes in.
